5 Apps to Get Through 2018
As mentioned in previous post, I want to share what I think as 5 apps to get through 2018. Mind you these are all what I feel like needed to get through the year and it might not apply for you. BUT these apps are helpful regardless it's for the new year or not so keep on reading!
Getting into the new year, most people (and probably including me) likes to reorganize their life, offline and online. I find that these apps are helpful for me to start the year and also hopefully would help me getting through the year. I find that mobile apps could help what we do offline as well so I have these apps with me at all times.
HEADSPACE | Android | iOS
I found Headspace from a YouTube video talking about self-care. It's a meditation and mindfulness app that providing meditation in a way that is easier and more enjoyable from smartphone. I find that this app was very soothing, especially how the narrator speaks to us.
BRAIN FOCUS PRODUCTIVITY TIMER | Android | iOS
Because of my depression and anxiety, I have a difficult time to be focused. I have shorter attention span recently and it made my reading session quite shorter than I used to have. So after meditate with Headspace, Brain Focus helps me to focus on my task, whether it is blogging or reading, in a time limit that I have set. You can change the time with however you like but 30 minutes helps me get through and sometimes more than that.
HABITBULL | Android | iOS
HabitBull works just like your habit tracker but in digital. You have to pay to put more than 5 habits but other than that you can use it for free. For me I want to track my workout, my Duolingo progress and reading session to keep on track. This also features cute pictures with motivational quotes that could help you boost your habit on track.
DUOLINGO | Android | iOS
Duolingo isn't a new app on my phone but it deserves recognition as it helps me broaden my knowledge in other languages. I always fond of languages so this helps me learn other language that I'm interested in. Currently I'm on Spanish but already making my options to learn something else.
DAYLIO | Android | iOS
Daylio is quite new to me. I found that journaling by pen and paper the best but I don't want too many scratch for mistakes so I found this. This helps because it also has mood tracker and notes to do some journaling. After log in here I usually move the notes and mood tracker to my journal so I can still track those offline and online.
Those five helps me since I installed them but since I just installed the new ones just for a month or so, it's too early to say that they have impacted my life in a good way, except Duolingo as it has been the longest app installed on my phone out of the list. Despite that, I believe that these apps would help me getting through 2018 and hopefully yours too. Other than those five mentioned, I have another one that I should refer as honorary mention.
This is the latest app I have installed on my phone and I loved it. I did join Amino a couple of days before the new year and in a matter of days I was hooked. I got new friends here who share things that I like or interested in. I only joined one community there but if I'm used to all the feature I might join some more.
So those are the apps that I think might help getting through the new year and hopefully they do the same for you. Have you tried any of them? Which one is your favorite? Or do you have other apps that help you like these for me? Share those in the comment box below and see you on my next post!
