Nezzy Rambling
For the first time I realized that the most important indicator of our value in this world is the good we do unto others
I found this beautiful line from a book titled Love in Lowercase by Francesc Miralles. This line reminds me a lot of what happens in daily life. We often forgot to see that being good to other people is what matters - not in sweet-talking people kind of way, that might be illegal at some point. The thing is nowadays it is hard to see the good in people because we ourselves couldn't believe that goodness is still among us.
Well you can tell the picture and the quoted line don't seem go in the same purpose but actually I finished the book before I met these ladies. At first, the purpose of our meeting was just them accompany me to run errands for my other friend. Then I found that the quoted line above saying a lot to my daily life at that moment - at least I realized that more that day.
I don't know, I might be just rambling about because I have no idea what to update this blog at the moment but I feel like I should post something. Maybe I should introduce them here? LOL Okay then.
The left one is my friend from middle school. Nattie. You might hear her name many times if you follow me here or my social media handles. We were desk-mate in 8th grade. Strangely we met again years later and from her I met several friends like Tierza (not on the picture) and this one on my right, Farha. The married lady, we nicknamed her that. She is currently here in Jakarta, Indonesia before coming back to her husband in Australia.
Now I don't know what to post anymore. But I do know if you want to check out my review of the book mentioned above, you can go to my Goodreads account - the link is on the "G" logo on the right side bar, the black dot one - or waiting for it to be posted on my new side tumblog for book reviews NezzyReads, since it is on queue to be posted.
That's it for now I think. Thanks for staying with my rambling :)
