Sick on My Birthday
Was it okay to have early birthday celebration? I got early birthday gift and early birthday promo but in the end on D-Day I was sick. Let me tell you one thing, being sick on your birthday is sucks!
I usually celebrate my birthday alone with watching movie on my own. This year I had a chance to watch James Bond latest movie, Spectre. I have put my review on my review blog and you can read it by clicking here.
Other than watching movie on my own I also redeemed my birthday voucher from Starbucks. If you have Starbucks card, you can get free grande beverage if you buy food. I got mine on my usual Starbucks which was at Plaza Senayan Kinokuniya where I'm their regular customer. Silly as it sounds, one of the barista was trying to flirt with me while congratulating my birthday but failed miserably. They didn't know I'm so good at flirting that I could dodge pick-up lines quite effortlessly if I may say so.
I wasn't feeling better on the next day either, November 7th, but I had to go anyway. I had to get my outerwear ready for Mina's wedding reception at the end of the month but then huge rain incoming but I was grateful I was at the tailor by using Tierz's car with her sister-in-law and the driver. I had expected some surprises for my birthday since the group chat was awfully deserted and I knew that I didn't join them on some occasions before my birthday so I knew they would have discussed it whenever I was not around, which was okay. Not too embarrassing compared to my first and only surprise for my birthday back in 2007. Just a cake and no big drama, unlike back in high school using toilet and our biology after-school tutor for my birthday surprise gift.
