Dear Phone #1

I know it sounded so annoying but in this era, having your phone broken is one of the biggest problem. I'm saying not as one of people who use social media a lot but mine was broken when I was about to have lots of phone calls and texts regarding work. So it's very annoying.

Before I went to Xperia Care, since my phone is Xperia Z1, I googled a lot, like trying to fix it myself which actually resulted none. I googled again about Xperia Care, especially the one in Jakarta in hopes to find the nearest one in my area. Before I found out about the Xperia Care, I read a lot about complaints, most are about Sony after sales service. It is very important for gadgets and vehicles because sometimes although you are being careful, you just can't help to have problems with yours. I was scared when I read it but then I was like "meh, it's not like I'd get a new phone in near future so best bet is fixing it at Xperia Care".

So yes, on Thursday I went to the first one at Senayan City. When I got there I noticed that it was closed aka being renovated. I sat on the food court to google the next place which was at Mall Ambassador. I went there and the lady there said that the only Xperia Care now was in Roxy. I called my dad with my other phone and he said he would take me there. We both rode angkot to ITC Roxy Mas and boy we couldn't find it. We asked several security guards there and we have to say that security guards at ITC Roxy Mas are very informative about the area. They said that Xperia Care moved to the Ruko area before BCA. The last security guard we asked even told us that the signage on the building was still covered with black fabric.

When we got there I got number 94, a tad bit later I might not be able to fix my phone that day. I waited for a long time but eventually when it was my turn the lady that helped me was very kind. I knew that my phone was off-warrant already and I told her the whole story how my phone was broken and couldn't be turned on nor charged. While checking my phone and stuffs, she told me about the place. The Xperia Care was just moved there for three months already and now in changing management phase so the signage was still covered in black fabric. The changing was because the place was used to be Blackberry Care Center and would probably be joined with Xperia Care, I'm not too sure about that. I probably got this digging info skill from my dad. He used to sweet-talk people to get information. Not that I talk in a very sweet way but I eventually got info.

In the end my phone need to be "hospitalized" there for 14-work-days at the latest so I'm hoping it would be sooner than that and cheaper than what I expected since I don't think it was a major physical problem. And there it goes, my first experience with Xperia Care. I do hope they would improve their performance knowing it was only one of the branches in Indonesia and I do not know how people were complaining about it. Maybe I'm just lucky to have such a nice experience there. At the moment I'm using the phone my dad lent me until I get my phone back, since I need to be available with both numbers I have for work. I do hope for you guys who read this to have enjoyable experience whenever you need to go to customer care, especially the after sales service.
